32 players made it to Day 2 of the $55 Main Event

190 entries in Day 1A

Yesterday, the MEC Poker Open Online was kicked off with the first starting day of the $55 Main Event. A total of 190 entries were made by 162 players.

32 players made it to Day 2

At the end of level 18 there were 32 players left. They will continue playing on Monday evening for the title on Day 2! Among them are 7 Belgians and 25 Dutchmen. The chiplead is for 🇧🇪 Guido Aelbrechts with over 2.3 million points. This gives him more than a million points advantage over the number 2 in chips 🇳🇱 Patrick van der Schief. 

Tonight at 7pm Day 1B

Tonight at 7pm, Day 1B of the MEC Poker Open Online Main Event will take place! Blind levels last 15 minutes and you can register until 90 minutes after the start (8:30 pm).  In that period you can do 1 re-entry. If you make it to level 18, you’re through to Day 2! You’ll find the tournament in the Bwin lobby when you use the search function and search for ‘MEC’.

Satellite

You can also qualify for the Main Event via an $11 satellite just before the start of Day 1B. This starts tonight at 5pm. The satellite can be found in the lobby of Bwin.

Private cashgame

In case you are out of the tournament or feel like opening a second table during the tournament? Then you can play our private cash games. Cash games will be hosted throughout the weekend at the MEC Poker Open.
